New blog & new tees!
Welcome to Wooshka! Yeah I know, we have been live for a little while now – but this is the first official chance we have had to welcome you and thank you all for making the Wooshka launch such a success. The crew here have been working around the clock to complete the new changes to the site, with more to come over the coming weeks and months.
A shout out to Theimageneer and dhectwenty on being the latest design Wooshka winners – well done guys! And before you ask, yes we did have our first little stuff-up... I Heart Ketchup was supposed to be black print – these things happen. Nonetheless both of the new prints look great!
For the guys out there the two new shirts come with a small length change – about 3cm longer – based on the great feedback we have received from those that have already picked up some Wooshka threads. We’ve already received so much feedback (mostly positive, thankfully...) by email but feel free to leave any comments here on the blog - good, bad or indifferent - on how we’re travelling. In the coming weeks we’ll also be asking you to vote on our first official member-only poll that will help guide the direction of Wooshka...stay tuned!

Just wondering what happens to the designs that are leaders on the live ladder etc.... there have been some wicked ones on there that just seem to disappear after a time with no word on whether they will be made or not.... were some designs i'm busting to see made.....
Hello! I love the design of the site, and the idea of the contest is just awesome. Why has there been no activity since I signed in...in 3 days i guess i was the only one posting comments (although votes were given). Would be great to get to know you guys better, and how to do that in this silence:)? Steve and the staff, keep up the great work! Kudos!
Love this website! I'm always checking up on it! Looking forward for you guys to expand!
Hey jecrt, that change is coming in soon, notifications are also being added so you can choose to receive emails when somebody comments on designs by simply "watching" them, this will apply to blog entrys like this one as well. Of course, the automatic emails can de turned off as well. Pat
Hey Steve! - I really like this site - very nice! I know you're working on stuff - site-wise - but if you haven't considered it, could you think about making it so that you can remain signed in? It times out every 30 minutes or so...so every time I want to check a score or comment or something - I have to sign back in. Not a HUGE problem, but - you know...if you're tweaking things already... Thanks again!!
hey NoFunk, good luck with your design! The Musk Stick design certainly provided a challenge - especially first up! It's actually my fav - looks great on! The Bully.... why wait? Get a Wooshka on ya!
ok maybe i should read the comments before i post, my question has already been answered. i want to buy a couple of t-shirts but i think i should wait until some new ones are up
I'm new here....sweet site you're running! when are new designs added to the shop?
thanks for answering Steve :) i just wondered because one of my designs is doing quite well lol! i can imagine its quite difficult. i bet the 'Musk Stick' design wasn't easy, looks great though so kudos!
hey NoFunk, at the moment we're adding new shirts on an ad hoc basis as we're still refining our production methods/skills... the learning curve is a steep one!!
Hello all =) im new and i hope i get to meet cool people and for my tees to win =).
how often are new tees decided? cool site btw!
wooshka is so cool and it'll grow in a little time, i'm pretty sure! keep up the good work guys.
This site is the most awesome thing I've discovered! I really hope the popularity grows so we can expand the types of clothing we can design!
i'd like to say yes...but that's a bit of a wait and see thing. If the site popularity continues to grow we would love to expand to other products - but for now we'll stick to mastering the tee!
Will you be printing on more than just t-shirts? Long sleeve, hoodies or pants maybe?
hey fgt. yep, all designers so far have taken payments via paypal. we can send via alternate methods (western union, international money transfer, etc.) however since these services are quite expensive, the tranfer fees would be deducted from the winners payment.
hey, uh, will you guys being sending payment through paypal for winning shirts? because if not, what other methods do you offer?
awesome work guys, looking foward to seeing where this community is heading off too :)
The Crew have done a super job, can't wait for more changes!!
