HOW DOES THIS SITE WORK?
How are the scores calculated for the designs in the gallery?
The score is a simple average score for that design, which means that each community member gives the design a score (between 1 and 5 – 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest score). The marks are then added together, and divided by the total number of scorers.
How can I score?
You must be registered in the Wooshka community to score a design. This is so we can avoid people scoring multiple times and thus distorting the results. Registration is absolutely free – in fact we give you 2 Street Crew credits for free just for registering. In accordance without privacy policy, all of your contact details are kept private and we will never provide these to a third party without your consent.
STREET CREW
How do Street Crew credits work?
It’s simple: 1 credit = $1.00 and the ways that you will receive Street Crew credits are:
- Creating your Wooshka account – 2 credits
- Referring a friend that creates a Wooshka account – 3 credits
(credited upon their first purchase) - Submitting a picture of you wearing a Wooshka tee – 1 credit
- Submitting a picture that we use on the shop page – 20 credits
Referrals are tracked by you either submitting your friends email address via your account page, or by using your unique URL (log in to see yours) on your own web page or blog. Sorry, but you can’t earn credits for placing orders using your own link.
How do I submit to the photo gallery?
Step 1 is to take a wicked photo of yourself wearing your new Wooshka shirt. Then navigate your way back to that design's product page where you'll find a photo upload tool (you must be logged in). If your pic gets passed by our pic review panel(ie.us) your photo will get displayed and your account credited.

Washing Instructions?
The washing instructions can be found on the inside hip of each shirt. But in case you missed them:
- 100% cotton
- Wash inside out
- Cold machine wash
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron print
Why don't you offer more sizes?
Unfortunately we cannot carry everyone’s size, especially given there are only 500 units in each style available. We carry guys and girls sizes S-XL. Check here for more sizing information.
HOW DO I SUBMIT DESIGNS
How do I submit my design?
Any member of the Wooshka community is welcome to submit a design. You should check the submission page for other instructions regarding design submissions. If your design meets the minimum requirements then your design will be posted on the site for users to score. If it is among the top scoring shirts, it may be chosen to be printed.
What will I win?
If your design is chosen, you will receive a cash prize of US$500 and a gift voucher of 200 Wooshka credits. Note that as the site popularity grows we hope to be able to offer the winners more :)
How does the design submission work?
Create your design in a vector art program like Illustrator (it's the file format required for the printing if your design is chosen). You can download a template to assist you.
You will also need some preview images for the site. One should be 485px x 365px and the other should be 182px x 128px. If your preview pics are not submitted in the exact sizes your designs will unfortunately not make it to the scoring stage.
Once it is uploaded, we first review the design. Then it is either put online or declined.
What are the Terms & Conditions of submitting a design?
The designer retains ownership of the submitted design. If selected for print, Wooshka Dot Com Pty Ltd (“Wooshka”) retains the exclusive rights to the submitted design for printing and selling on clothing. Wooshka also retains rights to the design itself for use on the Wooshka website, and any Wooshka promotional material and/or advertisements.
The participant may display their design in a portfolio or personal collection, but may not sell or reproduce the design for commercial purposes for ninety (90) days after the design has completed scoring. In addition, during this period, the participant cannot submit the design to another company to be potentially produced. Once this time frame has passed, if the design was not chosen for print by Wooshka, the participant is free to use the design for commercial purposes, however the participant must notify Wooshka so that the design can be removed from the Wooshka website. If the design is printed elsewhere, the participant cannot use the Wooshka website, or name to promote the product or another company.
The Design must be the participant's own original work and may not have been previously published. The Design may not contain the trademarks, logos, copyrighted works or intellectual property of any third parties, or any material, which Wooshka in its sole discretion deems to be profane or offensive. The designer indemnifies Wooshka against any claims arising from a breach of copyright by the designer.
The selected design may be reworked by professional designers to prepare it for use resulting in minor color or size changes.
Participants who, in the opinion of Wooshka, do not comply with these guidelines can at any time be excluded from the running without notification of reason.
The decisions of Wooshka are final and binding.
ORDERING
When is my order confirmed?
Shirts are only held for you once you place an order. Adding a shirt to your cart does not guarantee that you will be able to purchase it at a later date. If the shirt you want sells out before you have completed the checkout process you'll be advised and the item will be removed from your cart.
How can I pay for my order?
You can pay for Wooshka products using either credit card online (we accept Visa and Mastercard), or with PAYPAL. Only Debit Cards backed by Visa and Mastercard can be accepted. Currently we do not accept Switch, Electron, Maestro or other international debit cards.
Why do some tees cost more than others?
The tee price will vary accordingly with our production costs. Some tees, because of the type or style of the print may cost more to produce than others and this is directly reflected in any changes in price between shirts.
How can I make changes to my order?
Since we process payments instantly, and don't store your credit card information we are unable to cancel an order once it has been submitted.
We're sure you'll love your new Wooshka shirt when you get it, but if its not what you expected you can always check the returns information.
I placed my order, but forgot to add a tee. How can I add it to my order?
Sorry but since we don’t store credit card information, we cannot add to your order…you will have to place a new order for the additional shirt.
Can I combine orders?
Sorry! We are unable to combine orders. Each order you place is sent separately to our warehouse and orders are packed and shipped in the order they are received.
Why are you out of stock of a particular item?
Winning designs on Wooshka are produced in a limited run of just 500 units (spread across numerous sizes in both girls and guys). We do this so Wooshka tees remain rare and so we can constantly introduce new designs for you to choose from.
How does a reprint request work?
Reprint requests don't happen on an individual basis. We only reprint designs after they receive a certain amount of requests from all of the users. If we ever reprint one of your requested tees you will receive an email letting you know. Some designs you have requested may never be reprinted, but make sure you're signed up for the newsletter so you know when the reprints happen.
GIFT VOUCHERS
How do Gift Vouchers work?
Wooshka gift vouchers are the ideal gift and are emailed to the recipient in an instant (…so even great for those last minute gift ideas!). Gift Vouchers are emailed to the recipient with a special code that they can use to redeem the voucher. Please note that we do not send gift vouchers via the post.
Gift vouchers must be purchased in the currency Wooshka uses for the recipient’s country (ie. not for your country). So, if you live in New Zealand and are buying for a friend in the UK you’ll be charged in pounds. Note that your credit card will be charged in the foreign currency. Foreign currency gift certificates purchased at the same time as shirts will appear on your credit card as two separate transactions. Paypal cannot be used if purchasing a shirt at the same time as purchasing a voucher that is in a foreign currency.
How do I purchase a gift voucher?
Gift cirtificates work just the same way as a tee purchase does. Simply go to the gift voucher page and nominate the value of the gift voucher you would like to send. Add it to your shopping cart and you’re ready for checkout. After checkout, the gift voucher will be emailed to either you or the recipient, depending on what you have nominated, as a pdf file.
How do I redeem a gift voucher?
Simply browse though the many designs available on Wooshka, add your desired t-shirt to your shopping cart and checkout as you normally would. During the checkout process you will be asked to enter any coupon or gift voucher codes, the value of which will then be deducted from your cart total.
How do I give a gift voucher?
Once you place the order, you asked to provide either your or the recipient’s email address for the voucher to be sent to. The voucher will then be sent as a pdf file that can be printed.
How long are the gift vouchers good for?
Gift Vouchers are good for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months the gift voucher code will be locked from use and there will be no refund.
Can I use the gift voucher incrementally?
Yes, the gift voucher may be used for multiple orders. For example, if you have a $35 gift voucher and only use $30 of it, the additional $5 can be used at any time prior to its expiry. Simply enter the same gift voucher code and the remaining balance will be credited to your new order.
Are the gift vouchers refundable?
Sorry, there are no refunds available on gift vouchers.
SHIPPING
What shipping options do you offer?
Life should be simple, and so should Wooshka! That’s why we offer just one shipping method. Your purchase will be shipped via USPS. Shipping will take up to a week to most locations around the world from the shipping date, but some locations may take up to 14 days. You can track the status of your order by logging into your account. If you have not received your order after 14 days, you should contact our customer service department.
How much will shipping cost me?
1 shirt = $5 + $2.5 for each additional shirt.
Why was my order charged an import tax fee when it was delivered?
The price we charge for shipping DOES NOT include any charge that your local customs authority may apply to the order. We have no control over the customs duties that any country may choose to apply.
How is my order packed?
To keep shipping costs low and delivery times fast, we send our shirts in secured envelopes. They will be directly delivered to your mailbox by a mailman. Or, if you're not there, you'll get a note for you to pick up the goods at the post office. We will only send the order in a box/parcel if the order is substantial.
TRACKING MY ORDER
Can I track my shipment?
You can track your order status via your Wooshka account section. Currently we only track orders until the goods leave our warehouse.
I emailed you about my order but have not received a response…?
In all likelihood we have responded to your email but your mail provider (hotmail, yahoo, etc.) may have blocked the email. Please check your junk email. If you still can’t find it, try emailing us again but provide an ISP email address rather than a web-based email service like hotmail.
*In any case, please wait a week before emailing us again as there can sometimes be a small backlog during peak periods.
RETURNS
What is your policy on returns?
So long as the goods are still in their original condition (unused, not damaged and unwashed) we will accept any returns you may wish to make. We want you to be completely satisfied, but if you’re not pleased then follow the returns instructions that accompanied your order invoice. We can provide an exchange, refund or a store credit.
*Note we do not accept back washed items. If a washed, damaged or used item is returned, you will be asked to pay to have it returned to you.
*All returns must be made within 30 days of placing your orders.
What should I do if I no longer have the return form?

Do I have to pay to ship it back to you?
If you received the wrong item or if the item is defective, we will reimburse you for the cost of shipping the item back to us in the form of a store credit. Please send the item back regular mail and the return form inside the package. We will not reimburse for express or COD shipping.
I sent back a return, but haven't heard anything back.
Returns can take 1-2 weeks for us to receive and process. When your return is processed, we will send you a notification email. Check your spam folder to make sure the notification didn't get marked as spam.
